Should I schedule a trial run for my wedding hair style?

Absolutely! For your wedding, a trial run is very important and should be scheduled least 2 to 3 months before the date of your wedding. This will allow you to see a practice version of your hair style before the big day so that any adjustments that need to be made can be worked out well in advance.

How should my hair be prepped the day of the trial/formal-finish?

Come with dry hair the day of your service. Your hair will not be shampooed during a formal finish service and you are suggested to have a small amount of product in your hair. Please come with whichever hair's level of cleanliness you are comfortable with.

What should I bring to my initial wedding hair consultation?

As a hair designer, I want to completely understand your vision and your personal taste. This first wedding hair appointment is very important. Feel free to bring any photos that you have collected that inspire you. This is when we will begin to plan a creative and customized style just for you. Other things to consider,

  • Wearing a veil.

  • Wearing hair accessories.

What else can I book for my hair before the wedding?

  • Glossing treatment, to help give shine to your hair.

  • Deep conditioning treatment, to lock in moisture and repair damaged ends.

  • Fresh color, plan at least 2 weeks before your wedding day.

What should I wear to my wedding hair appointment?

When arriving for your wedding hair appointment, please remember to wear loose clothing. A button or zip-up shirt are highly recommended. Staying away from collared shirts, hooded shirts, or turtlenecks are highly advised.

Should I wash my hair before my wedding hair appointment?
Typically washing and blow drying your hair the evening before will give you the best results to hold a formal finish. When you arrive at BEkind for your initial wedding hair appointment, you will be given specific instructions for hair care on the day of your wedding in order to allow for the long lasting style.

When should I schedule an eyebrow wax?

You can schedule an appointment for an eyebrow wax and shaping a week in advance before the wedding, and then you’ll have perfectly arched brows.

Please note that products, such as Retin-A  and Accutane, can have an adverse effect on waxing or lift the skin causing scabbing, so please consult with us first if you are using these products. Prior to your waxing appointment, do not use any moisturizer, self-tanner or abrasive body scrubs on your skin. After your appointment, you will need to avoid exposure to the sun, swimming pools and using tanning beds for at least 24 hours
